1. Acceptance
By using the services of Star Way Packers and Movers (“Star Way”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), you (the “Customer”, “you”, or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read these Terms carefully before using our services. If you do not agree to all of the Terms, you may not use our services.
2. Services
Star Way offers a variety of relocation services, including packing, unpacking, loading, unloading, transportation, and storage. A full list of our services can be found on our website or by contacting us directly.
3. Estimates and Quotes
Star Way will provide a free estimate based on the information you provide about your move. This estimate is non-binding and may be subject to change based on the final weight, distance, and accessibility of your belongings.
4. Binding Agreement
A binding agreement will be established upon your signature on our service contract. This contract will outline the specific services included, estimated costs, and other relevant details of your move.
5. Payment
Payment terms will be specified in the service contract. We typically require a deposit upfront, with the remaining balance due upon completion of the move. We accept various payment methods, which will be outlined in the contract.
6. Valuation and Insurance
Basic cargo insurance is included with our services. However, we recommend purchasing additional insurance for valuable or irreplaceable items. Star Way is not liable for any damages exceeding the declared value on the Bill of Lading.
7. Customer Responsibilities
- You are responsible for providing an accurate inventory of your belongings.
- You are responsible for preparing your belongings for packing, including disassembly of furniture if necessary.
- You are responsible for obtaining any necessary permits for parking or road closures during the move.
- You are responsible for discarding or properly disposing of any hazardous or flammable materials before the move.
8. Limitation of Liability
Star Way will take all reasonable care to protect your belongings during the move. However, we are not liable for any loss or damage caused by:
- Acts of God (e.g., natural disasters)
- Acts of war or terrorism
- Inherent vice of the goods (e.g., fragile items)
- Normal wear and tear
- Customer negligence
9. Claims Process
Any claims for damage must be submitted in writing within a specified timeframe (to be outlined in the service contract) after delivery. Claims must be accompanied by a detailed list of damaged items and supporting documentation (e.g., photos).
10. Cancellation
Cancellation fees may apply if you cancel your move within a certain timeframe (to be outlined in the service contract).
11. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved through good faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute may be settled through binding arbitration.
12. Governing Law
These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
13. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Star Way regarding the services provided.
14. Amendment
Star Way reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. We will post any changes on our website and notify you by email if necessary.
